On Monday, April 13, Tyler "Belly" Bellerose, a freshman Pitcher on the Oregon State baseball team, was seriously injured in an accident. As a result of the accident, he sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (temporal lobe contusion). The impact also caused a neck injury, as well as swelling and a small amount of bleeding near his spine. He is currently experiencing limited movement in his left arm and shoulder, and no movement in his left leg.

We are unsure what the recovery for Tyler is going to look like, but there is a high probability he will need some form of rehabilitation, although we are hopeful for a full recovery. This situation has created significant and unexpected financial strain for Tyler and his family, including out-of-pocket expenses, travel, lodging, and other day-to-day costs that come with supporting him through treatment and recovery.

All funds raised will go directly to Tyler and his family to support them during this time and to help ease the overall financial burden, allowing them to focus fully on his recovery.

Tyler is a valued member of the Beaver Baseball family and a teammate who embodies the work ethic, discipline, and commitment that define Oregon State baseball.
