Our beloved mother Lucille Curley Herrera passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth. It was on Friday, March 20th, when we had to bid farewell as she joined our Heavenly Father.
Lucille was Táchii'nii (Mother's clan-Red Running Into the Water).Tł'ááshchi'i (Born to Father's clan-The Red Bottom People).Tóaheedlííníí (Cheíí is Maternal Grandfather's clan-The Water Flow Together clan). Naasshashi (Nálí is Paternal Grandfather's clan-The Bear People).
Amidst the pain of loss, there's also the reality that comes with it: the costs of her final goodbye. Funeral arrangements, reception hall rentals, travel expenses for out-of-town family members—these are just a few burdens we face now. And let me tell you, they hit deep into our pockets and hearts! ?❤️
We remember Mom's laughter filling every room she entered; her warmth could melt even the frostiest spirits. She was the glue that held us together, not only for herself but also for countless friends who knew her as 'Mom.' And now, we stand at a crossroads—a bit lost and in need of support to ensure her farewell is nothing less than perfect.
That's why we're reaching out today. We are asking for your help with the financial aspects of this memorial: Funeral Expenses ($3000), Reception Hall Rentals ($1000), Travel Expenses for Family Members ($1000). Your contribution, no matter how small or large, will go a long way in honoring our mom's life. ?
Imagine the joy on Mom’s face if she could see us all gathered and laughing together at her reception hall—like it was just another day of memories being made! But right now, we need your support to make that vision into reality. Your generosity will help cover catering costs for this event which include refreshments for guests. ??
And let's not forget the flowers: Mom loved nature’s beauty and would have adored having fresh blooms at her memorial service. Even small acts of kindness such as these can lift our spirits during tough times. ?✨
We know this is a difficult time for many, but your support in any form—whether it's sharing our story, offering prayers, or donating to help ease the financial burden we face—will be immensely appreciated. It’s about coming together as a community of caring souls who believe that love and kindness can truly make a difference.
Thank you for taking the time to read this; your compassion is already felt deeply in our hearts. Let's keep Mom's memory alive not just with words, but also through action—let’s ensure her legacy continues by celebrating life together one more time. ??
Please reach out if you have questions or need further information. You can donate securely online using the link provided below this story. Every dollar counts! ✨
