Lucy Needs Love
Lucy is a 10-year-old stray in need of dental and veterinary care. We initially planned to TNR her (Trap, Neuter, Release), but our hearts told us she crossed our path for a reason. She was spayed but not released, and she remains in our care.
We would truly love to see this sweet senior girl spend her remaining years in a safe, warm environment. Our hope is to find a place where she can live indoors rather than being returned outside. After the harsh winter New Jersey has had, it’s honestly hard to believe she made it through.
Before that can happen, we need to get her into better health. Our veterinarian has examined her and recommended a dental procedure. She is incredibly sweet and enjoys being petted, but she has multiple sores on her body, is very underweight, and appears to be in discomfort while eating.
Please help us help Lucy by supporting our fundraiser so we can provide the dental care she urgently needs. Every bit of support brings her one step closer to a more comfortable and safe life.
