Support Jenn and Family in House Fire Recovery
Jenn and her two children were home on April 1 when a house fire rapidly destroyed their home. The cause of the fire is still unknown. Thankfully, they made it out safely, but they now need support. They are now facing the overwhelming reality of starting over. From replacing what they can to trying to clean what is salvageable, the road ahead feels long. Here are ways you can help:
1) **UPDATE- THIS NEED HAS BEEN MET** Help with moving items: Assist in moving salvageable belongings to a storage unit this Saturday, April 4 at 9:30 AM. Please contact Ligaya Hartman if you have a truck or trailer, and/or are available to help.
2) Donate clothing: Drop off clothing donations at Church of the Open Door in the bin labeled “Younkin.” Donations will be collected through April 15.
3) Give financially: Donations can be made through this GiveSendGo fundraiser, or by check payable to Church of the Open Door with “Younkin Benevolence” in the memo line.
These funds will help them replace essential items and ensure Jenn's children have what they need to feel safe and secure again.
4) PRAY!: Please remember this sweet family in your prayers.
