? 6 Weeks to Graduation — Help JaDay Cross the Finish Line at Howard University
In just 6 weeks, my daughter, JaDay is supposed to graduate from Howard University with a degree in Legal Communications (poli-sci minor); one step closer to law school and a career rooted in advocacy and service.
Instead, she’s facing an unexpected financial gap that could stop her right before the finish line.
After years of discipline, sacrifice, and staying committed to her path, she now needs urgent support to cover tuition and housing so she can graduate on time.
She’s Done Everything Right
JaDay didn’t just focus on getting through school, she’s already doing the work she hopes to build her life around.
Since high school, JaDay has volunteered with local organizations serving marginalized communities, which led to an internship with LVDBH, a nonprofit serving families along Atlanta’s Buford Highway corridor, where she continues to sharpen her communication and project management skills while giving back. She shows up for people who need support without hesitation.
That’s not a future goal. That’s who she already is.
This Is Bigger Than One Semester
JaDay comes from a family that understands responsibility, structure, and service. In a household of six, she learned early what it means to push forward even when things aren’t easy.
She’s carried that mindset into everything she’s done:
• Staying committed to her education
• Preparing for law school
• Choosing a path centered on giving back
Now, she’s facing something many students experience but not everyone talks about: a sudden financial gap at the worst possible time.
If You’ve Ever…
Then you understand what this means.
What Your Support Does
Your donation goes directly toward:
It allows her to stay focused, finish strong, and walk across that stage on time.
Help Her Finish Strong
Every donation moves her closer to graduation in 6 weeks. No matter the amount.
If you can’t give, sharing this campaign could connect it to someone who can.
JaDay is not asking to start over. She’s asking for the chance to finish what she’s worked for.
Let’s make sure she does.
With gratitude,
Nneka
